We have a new project  which is pre - school for the Hearing impaired " Ephphatha pre-school " for the hearing impaired. Hearing - impaired children who have already undergone regular Speech Therapy from the age of 1 - 3 years will be admitted at the pre - school, Here, along the pre-school training    they will be given nursery training too    ( LKG & UKG ). Our vision & mission is to train these children up to 4th standard (usual state syllabus ) with extra speech training so that their verbal skills may also be prompted along with the academic skills. Later these children based on their overall  performance       ( those who qualify )   will be shifted / transferred to the normal schools.

                 Our aim is that these hearing - impaired children should be taught to make use of their verbal skills in the maximum best way possible rather than developing sign language. They should also be able to live like anyone of us in this society  rather than being treated as disabled group or handicapped groups when they can improve with sufficient professional help.
       
                 Thus we request your valuable prayer & support to work for the upliftment of these hearing - impaired members of our society. Especially where hearing - impaired children are concerned we specify  that they should start speech therapy soon after they complete one year of age for good results and satisfactory performance, above all to attain speech & language development like any other normal child.
